To begin CH 150 with CA,
STARTING ROW 1: SC in the 2nd CH from the hook & in each ST across (149)
Design #1 NESTLE STITCH
NOTES: This stitch is worked as a multiple of 3 plus an additional 2 sts. For This pattern you will have 49 "V" (DC,CH1,DC) sts & 49 "3DC Cluster" sts in their designated rows.
Additional Abbreviations:
3DC Cluster = (YO, insert in the CH space, YO, pull up a loop, YO, Pull through 2) 3 times, YO, Pull through all 4 loops
ROW 2: CH 2(counts as your first DC) & turn, SK the next ST *(DC, CH 1, DC), SK 2, repeat from * across until you have 2 sts left, SK the next to the last ST, DC in the last ST
ROW 3: CH 3(counts as a DC/CH1) & turn, *working only in the CH 1 SP between the DC sts, place a 3DC Cluster, CH 2, repeat from * across until your last CH SP, place a 3DC Cluster in the CH SP, CH 1, DC in the last ST
ROW 4: CH 2(counts as your first DC) & turn, *working in the top of the cluster only, place(DC, CH 1, DC), repeat from * across, DC in the last ST
ROW 5: REPEAT ROW 3: CH 3(counts as a DC/CH1) & turn, *working only in the CH 1 SP between the DC sts, place a 3DC Cluster, CH 2, repeat from * across until your last CH SP, place a 3DC Cluster in the CH SP, CH 1, DC in the last ST
ROW 6: REPEAT ROW 4: CH 2(counts as your first DC) & turn, *working in the top of the cluster only, place (DC, CH 1, DC), repeat from * across, DC in the last ST
ROW 7: CH1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the same ST & in each ST & CH SP across(149)
Design #2 VICTORIA STITCH
NOTES: This stitch is worked as a multiple of 5 plus an additional 4 sts.
TIPS: All even numbered rows begin the alternating with a BLO HDC, and all odd numbered rows will begin the alternating with a FLO. Also the beginning and end of each row will mirror each other so if the row begins with (HDC, HDC BLO) it will end with (HDC BLO, HDC)
Additional Abbreviations:
BLO = Back Loop Only
FLO = Front Loop Only
Change yarn to CB,
ROW 8: CH 1(does not count as a ST & turn), HDC in the first ST, repeat (HDC BLO in the next ST, HDC FLO in the next ST) across ending with a HDC BLO in the next to the last ST and an HDC in the last ST(149)
ROW 9: CH 1(does not count as a ST & turn), HDC in the first ST, repeat (HDC FLO in the next ST, HDC BLO in the next ST) across ending with a HDC FLO in the next to the last ST and an HDC in the last ST(149)
ROW 10: REPEAT ROW 8
ROW 11: REPEAT ROW 9
