Abbreviations(US Terms):
CH= Chain
SK= Skip
ST = Stitch
sts = Stitches
SC= Single Crochet
HDC= Half Double Crochet
DEC = HDC 2 Stitches Together
BLO = Back Loop Only
Let's finish this up!!
Using the corresponding color yarn tails from the color change attach the front panel to the back panel (wrong sides together). Begin with the light brown tail and work your way down to the bottom.
To keep the rough edging for a more scarecrow look, insert your hook from front to back in one stitch(and it's match on the back panel),
then insert your hook from back to front in the next stitch (and it's match on the front panel).
Once you have completed the light brown portion the whole way around, tie off and weave in your end, & hide your tail inside. Thread your dark brown yarn and do the same stitching technique working up the hat portion. Remember to add just enough stuffing to keep in from being completely flat before finishing the hat seaming.
