New Release Announcement-Cow Swatter
With the weather getting warmer, and the bug frenzy beginning to form in my neck of the woods grabbing my attention, fly swatters have been added to my home decor once again. Creating these adorable covers for them has been so much fun I have a bunch in the testing process and more on their way there.
My new release for this week is the Cow Swatter crochet pattern!

" This adorable design features a cow print themed flyswatter cover that is as cute as it is practical. The pattern includes step-by-step instructions and a chart to bring some farm charm to your household essentials. Perfect for adding a pop of decoration to your kitchen or patio, this Cow Swatter is sure to delight both kids and adults alike. Crochet your own fly swatter cover to keep pesky flies at bay while adding a touch of personality to your home."

I remember my grandma, who was quite talented with plastic canvas, creating these super cute covers for the fly swatters of every family member & friend in the tri-state area and beyond. Some had cute little cottages on them while others sported a funny little pipe cleaner bee and bold "BUZZ OFF" lettering to ward off those pesky annoyances. Not only were they super fun, but also practical for being so much nicer to look at than a plain, usually oddly bright colored, fly swatter hanging handy on the wall where everyone could easily grab it when needed. Not to mention there is something rather invigorating about unsheathing your weapon before entering into battle with the winged enemy.
The finished measurement should be approximately 5” square to fit the average 4" wide fly swatter. Depending on your tension this one will use up about 55 yards of any ww4/aran/10 ply yarn you might have on hand so it's also a great scrap-buster.
