Mushroom Puff CAL Part 2

If you didn't already grab your supplies, here's what you will need to get started......
Materials:
Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek Yarns in 2 colors(approx. 100 yds total)
G(4.25 mm) Hook
Scissors
Needle
Abbreviations(US Terms):
sts = Stitches
ST = Stitch
SL= Slip Stitch
CH = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
FLO = Front Loop Only
INC = Increase(place 2 sts in one ST)

In this part we will be incorporating the stem into the cap.
CAP ROW 18 & STEM ROW 1: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & Turn, SC 6, change to stem color, *SC FLO 12 sts, change to cap color, SC in the last 6 sts(24)
*Work over your cap yarn to carry it across the stem. DO NOT CUT YOUR STEM YARN! YOU WILL CONTINUE WORKING YOUR STEM LATER!
CAP ROW 19: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & Turn, SC 6, SC in the FLO of row 17(the same sts you placed the stem color sts in for row 18, only in the unworked loop this time) 12 sts, SC in the last 6 sts(24)
CAP ROW 20: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & Turn, SC in each ST across(24)
Cut & tie off your cap color for the first panel. Now, remaining on the wrong side, insert your hook into the last stem colored ST of ROW 18, YO with your working stem yarn & pull up a loop.
STEM:
ROWS 2-11: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & Turn, SC in each ST across(12)
ROW 12: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & Turn, INC, SC 10, INC(14)
ROW 13: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & Turn, INC, SC 12, INC(16)
ROW 14: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & Turn, SC in each ST across(16)
Cut & tie off your stem color.
Create a Ravelry Project with the name "MushPuff CAL" with your finished photos by September 17th, 2024, to be gifted this pattern for FREE!
