CA = Maize(approx. 695 yds)
CB = Chestnut(approx. 210 yds)
H(5 mm) Hook
Scissors
Needle

SK = Skip
ST = Stitch
CH = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
FP = Front Post
FLO = Front Loop Only
NOTE: Finished blanket with this pattern & yardage should measure approx. 29” wide by 31” long. If you have a looser tension you may need and extra skein of CA. This yardage is calculated with a tighter tension.

To begin CH 120 with CA
ROW 1: SC in the 2nd CH from your hook and in each ST across(119)
ROW 2: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, FLO SC in each ST across(119)
ROW 3: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, repeat(SC, CH 1/SK 1) 59 times, SC in the last ST(119)
ROW 4: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the first ST, repeat(CH 2, FP SC the SC) 58 times, CH 2, SC in the last ST(178 counting the chains)
ROW 5: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, repeat (HDC in the previous row SC, *DC in the CH 1) 59 times, HDC in the last ST(119)
*go into the CH SP of the CH 1(work in front of the CH 2 from the previous row)
ROWS 6-45: Repeat ROWS(2-5) 10 times
ROW 46: REPEAT ROW 2
Change to CB
ROWS 47-49: Repeat ROWS(3-5)
