Hoven Skinny Scarf Crochet Pattern

Here's what you'll need to get started.......
Materials:
Premier Basix yarn(approx. 320 yds)
I(5.25mm) Hook
Scissors
Needle
Abbreviations(US Terms):
SK = Skip
sts = Stitches
ST = Stitch
CH = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
BLO = Back Loop Only
FBL = Front Bottom Loop
NOTE: This scarf is worked end to end & should measure approx. 3.5” wide by 72” long with this pattern & yardage.
To begin CH 286, or do a foundation SC row of 285 sts,
ROW 1: SC in 2nd CH from the hook and in each ST across(285), turn
ROW 2: CH 1(does not count as a ST), HDC in the first ST, repeat (CH1/SK1, HDC in the next 2 sts) 94 times, CH1/SK1, HDC in the last ST(285), turn
ROW 3: CH 1(does not count as a ST), HDC in the first ST, repeat(*DC in the SK SC, HDC BLO in the next 2 sts) 94 times, DC in the CH SP, HDC in the last ST(285), turn (See photos on the next page for help with the DC)
*NOTE: The DC sts throughout this pattern is always a SPIKE ST, work over the chain like it doesn't exist.
ROW 4: CH 1(does not count as a ST), HDC the first ST, repeat(CH1/SK the DC, FBL HDC the next 2 sts) 94 times, CH1/SK the DC, HDC the last ST(285), turn
ROW 5: CH 1(does not count as a ST), HDC in the first ST, repeat[*DC in the DC(from 2 rows ago), HDC BLO in the next 2 HDC sts(from the previous row)] 94 times, DC in the DC(from 2 rows ago), HDC in the last ST(285), turn
ROWS 6-9: REPEAT (ROW 4, ROW 5) twice
ROW 10: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, HDC the first ST, repeat(SC in the DC, FBL HDC the next 2 sts) 94 times, SC in the DC, HDC the last ST(285)
ROW 11: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in each ST across(285)
Cut, tie off, & weave in your ends.
