Daisy Bookmark Crochet Pattern
Updated: Aug 25, 2024
While trying to come up with some more bookmark designs to build stock for the cute little boutique that I gratefully get to display my wares in I created these cute little daisies for spring. After whipping up a bunch I sent it off to my amazing testers to get it perfect to share with all of you.

Grab a handful of any WW4/Aran/10Ply yarn scraps and make up a few of your own. Finished bookmark should be 14” long, but will stretch longer. Feel free to adapt the chain length in STEP 2 to the length you want.
Here's what you'll need to get started.......
Materials:
Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek Yarns in Yellow & White (approx. 15 yds total)
G(4.25 mm) Hook
Scissors

Abbreviations(US Terms):

ST = Stitch
SL= Slip Stitch
MR = Magic Ring
CH = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet

To begin create a MR with yellow.
Step 1: place 10SC in your magic ring, SL to your first SC to connect
STEP 2: CH 58(or as long as you like), place 5 SC in the second CH from your hook,

skip over the CH and rotate to work along the bottom of the CH, place an additional 5 SC in the same chain.

Cut, tie off, and use your tail to sew the hole shut.

Petals:
Attach white to any SC on your first center.
(CH 3, place 2 HDC in the 2nd CH from your hook, SC in the next CH, SL to the next center SC) 10 times, SL in the same ST you attached your white to. Cut, tie off & weave in your ends.
