I wrote up this pattern years ago as one of my very first officially published patterns. I had been selling these for a few years and using them as gift baskets for drawings for different craft shows I took part in. For some reason there was a run on these patterns recently so I decided it was time to revisit and clean it up.
It's a good thing I did!!
This thing was terrible!! It was literally a step above the chicken scratch it started at. After I cried about how all those people probably now think I am the worst designer on the planet and couldn't crochet my way out of a paper bag I blew my nose and started to work getting it to actually resemble my writing.
After a few hours, and a few absolutely amazing superhero testers, it was finally something I felt proud to call mine.
I sent out a mass apology e-mail and updated the PDF on all its platforms, and now am adding it to my blog here for anyone who missed those.
On a positive note, I was able to see so much improvement and growth since way back then, which encouraged me to not give up after this bomb.
